As a young child growing up near my dear grandparents whose name was Fields, I was deeply influenced by the beautiful harvest of cornfields and fruit trees.  This imagery was transformed within me throughout my artistic career and I completed my Bachelors of Arts at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois.

Further, as I settled later in the Pacific Northwest, I felt strongly about the brilliant natural colors of the harvesting grapes and other crops here that our culture is so very proud of.  My works depict this feeling of harvest and our cultural heritage.
