Gloria Jean Burton is an Olympia area artist who has spent a lifetime expressing her own unique creativity through music and art. She is always inspired by the scenery and people of this region. Her paintings are colorful, relaxed and impressionistic and she enjoys conveying emotion in this form. Recently, she’s been carrying her talents to vintage furniture pieces in acrylic along with her two-dimensional framed work (water media, acrylic, oil). She has experience with digitally enhancing illustrations as well and a background in graphics/marketing communications. Many of her original pieces have found their way into homes, businesses and publications in several states. She currently serves OAL as Paint Out Coordinator.

Gloria exhibits locally and participates in league shows. You can see examples of her work at Lighthouse Antiques, 2921 Pacific Avenue SE, Olympia, WA. For more information - 360-491-6974, www.rainglo.net, gloria@rainglo.net.
