Jo has long enjoyed a love for penning the written word. She says, “The more I letter, the more I love doing it.” She often superimposes poetry and prose over a fine art medium such as a watercolor wash.
She sells her work locally, does commissioned work such as wedding invitations, certificates, calligraphic broadsides and cards. She also teaches the art of calligraphy in her Olympia, Washington studio.
