Art has always been a big part of my life. I studied graphic design in college. After college I worked at a local TV station as a graphic artist and did freelance work. I had a comic strip that was published for 13 years. I started painting in acrylics but switched to watercolor because I love the way watercolor can sometimes paint itself. I have been a member of the OAL since September 2014. While watercolor is my primary medium I also work with pen & ink, graphite and photography. I enjoy painting landscapes, seascapes, old buildings and vehicles and enjoy the look and feel of shadows, fog and mist. I love all things whimsical as well.
