A life-long resident of the State of Washington. His artistic pursuit has focused primarily on landscape painting in oils, although he also enjoys painting florals, occasional portraits, and western scenes.
His work has been selected for numerous awards in the art shows and events that he enters throughout the northwest. Mr. Capener also teaches painting classes and workshops at various outlets in the area. His gallery representation includes Childhood’s End in Olympia, WA, the Lakewood Gallery, Lakewood, WA, and the Watermark in Tacoma, WA.
