Paint-Outs –  THURSDAYS - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Artists will meet at various locations to sketch, paint, take photos, and share our work. We are a supportive group, working in various media. Bring your own supplies, snacks, and camera or phone. If it’s raining or if it’s very cold, we may meet at an alternative, sheltered location. We will plan to gather at 12:30 p.m. to display our work and invite comments. You will be able to say one thing that attracts you to a piece, and make a suggestion for improvement if you can think of one, or a question to give the artist an opportunity to talk about their art. Paint-Ins Days – Starting in October, Karen Crate hosts weekly daytime Paint-Ins at the Clubhouse at Thunderbird Village, 716 Dennis Street, SE, Tumwater, WA, where members and non-members may paint and consult with each other as they create their art. Paint-Ins Evenings – When the weather gets cool the evening painting group moves to Diana Fairbank’s studio at 1230 8th Ave SE, Olympia, WA. This group meets three (3) Thursdays each month and attendance requires a $5 contribution to help cover the rental of this art space.
