A lover of color and rhythm, Sherie thinks the fluidity of curved lines and the use of pattern creates a plethora of artistic delights. She is always seeking something new to challenge herself, to express the light from within. She received her BA at Evergreen State College where she studied the Arts, Histories, and Religions. She feels this experience opened her eyes and mind to new approaches to the arts. The idea of how we all perceive things differently affects how we view life and art. This is a source of fascination for Sherié. Our perspective lens colors our own histories, therefore, they show up in our art. By finding the Olympia Art League and becoming a member, this has lead to a continued discovery of new ways and new minds that create art.
