About the Olympia Art League

Capitol-Jane KingThe Olympia Art League has served to promote visual arts in the South Puget Sound community of Washington State for over 50 years. The organization's 100+ members are an active, vibrant group of artists and art lovers.

The League sponsors a variety of art-related activities for artists of all levels of ability. As a non-profit organization, the League’s mission is to serve, not only its members, but also the larger South Sound community. The public is welcome to attend the League’s monthly meetings, and to participate in most events the League sponsors.

The League’s newsletters are posted to this website around the first of the month (Sept-Nov, Jan-May), that the League operates, and serve to provide an up-to-date source of League activities. Members are also kept informed of art-related happenings through a group e-mail network.
